Building frasemy's Website and Quote Database
Building Frasemy has been a rewarding experience, blending functionality with a growing online presence. While the branding and final design are still evolving, I handled the design and layout, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience that allows visitors to easily explore over 25,000 quotes and authors.
The site’s success is driven by effective SEO strategies, positioning Frasemy as a go-to resource for quotes, with around 10,000 visits per month. Moving forward, I plan to refine the branding, introduce audience segmentation, implement personalized mailing features, and launch a product store to further enhance the platform’s reach and engagement.
Design & Styles
Even though the branding process is yet not finished, I already established a simple recognizable brand image. I also ensured the User Interface was as intuitive and clean as possible, which was quite a challenge based on the vast amount of data to be sorted and presented.
Technology & Implementation
The website was built using WordPress, Divi Builder, and WooCommerce, with a focus on scalability and dynamic content.
Data acquisition and classification for the quotes were automated through custom scripts and AI models, ensuring accurate categorization and efficient handling of over 25,000 quotes and 2,000 authors. This data was then imported into Wordpress using WP All Import, leveraging custom fields to dynamically populate the product pages.
Divi’s Theme Builder was utilized to design and generate the dynamic quote pages, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing user experience. Plans are in place to integrate WooCommerce with MailerLite for product sales and marketing automation, creating a seamless workflow for future email campaigns and customer engagement.
