Creating Chords Magazine from start to end.
Creating Chords magazine was an exciting journey from start to finish. As a rock, hard rock, and metal music magazine, it had to embody the bold, raw energy of the genres, and I was involved in every step to make that happen. From writing content and designing layouts to color grading and creating vector images, I made sure everything stayed consistent with the brand’s style.
I also handled the technical side, checking colors, text, and formats to prepare a perfect print-ready PDF. Finally, I took on the production process—printing, folding, cutting, and assembling the magazine myself. The result was a cohesive and polished tribute to the music I love.
Design & Production
I began by defining the magazine’s personality, creating a cohesive set of design styles and guidelines to give the project its unique identity. Using these styles, I carefully laid out all the content, ensuring consistency and visual appeal throughout. Finally, I prepared the print-ready file, double-checking every detail before overseeing the entire printing process.
